Ashleigh Hargrave

Activator | Conscientious Communicator| Senior Diversity, Inclusion and Health Equity Practitioner

Communication starts with the first look, word, or smile. Once the cue is received, the connection process can begin. Along the journey, we have the opportunity to learn more about each other’s values, goals, and definitions of health. Health that is managed both in and out of a medical provider’s office.

Whether engaging team members, leaders, or our community, I have been trusted to identify and have executed initiatives that foster positive change. Recognizing that we are all diverse and unique and that life is a marathon, not a sprint, being able to endure and enjoy the view keeps me passionate about my work. Whether creating and hosting a podcast featuring a community perspective, writing about the impact of equity, or facilitating diversity, inclusion, and equity education, I count each experience as a privilege to learn about myself and others.

Stroke Survivor | People Magazine Women Changing the World 2021 | Founder, Infinite Flow Dance | Inclusion Speaker & Performer

I’m a speaker, dance artist, changemaker, and founder of Infinite Flow, a Los Angeles-based nonprofit and professional dance company composed of dancers with and without disabilities with a mission to promote inclusion. I’m 4th generation Japanese American, born between a 3rd generation Japanese American father and a Japanese mother native from Japan.

Most recently, in March 2021, People Magazine recognized me a 1 of 14 “Women Changing the World” next to Vanessa Bryant, Camila Cabello, Stacey Abrahams, Amanda Gorman, Naomi Osaka, and past recipients Oprah Winfrey, Michelle Obama, Kamala Harris, Sheryl Sandberg, Brene Brown, among other incredible women. I’m the first dancer to receive this recognition.

… I don’t know how I got on this list. But what I do know is this:

I’ve survived a stroke, multiple sexual assaults, body shaming, PTSD, and discrimination as an Asian American. And I fought my way through building a career as a professional dancer, and devoted the last few years of my life building Infinite Flow and continue to build the company, ALL to arrive at this moment:

To help you rise to a higher purpose and a higher you.

For Corporations: To spark your employees to lead with purpose, collaborate with heart, and cultivate spaces of belonging, while adding a layer of creativity to your diversity, equity, and inclusion training that transforms hearts, bodies, and souls.

For Colleges: To bring awareness on disability inclusion, accessibility, and intersectionality to your campus, while empowering your students to own their identities and discover their hidden potential to be change agents to the world.

Artists, Creatives, and Intellectuals: To help you break free from what is holding you back, and support you on your journey of becoming the creative changemaker you are meant to be while being unapologetically you.

I am far from perfect. I’m a work-in-progress who continues to learn and unlearn social justice, disability inclusion, transformative leadership, and so many other things.

But if sharing my truth can open one door for you or open more hearts at your organization, then I am here for you.

DEI Speaker & Facilitator | AAPI Experiences | Executive Coach | Business Insider's Most Innovative Career Coaches | Founder Agency DEI

Pam is a problem solver at heart.
She helps people achieve their own versions of success and build careers they're fulfilled by. She
does this through coaching, speaking, and workshops on career development, DE&I, and
AAPI/immigrant experiences. In 2020, she was named to Business Insider’s Inaugural List of Most
Innovative Career Coaches.
Prior to, her dream since age 8 was to be the NBA Commissioner. She chased her dream jobs in
sports, brand strategy, and marketing with The NBA, ESPN, Nike, Jordan Brand, and R/GA. But
after 15+ years she got tired of selling things while also realizing how many people are unhappy at
work yet spend most of their lives working. So she found a way to adapt her
strategy/brand/marketing expertise to serve her mission to help people live more fulfilling,
impactful lives and to make workplaces more equitable and inclusive.
This past year, the relentless trauma in POC communities motivated her to begin her community
organizing career through fundraising for hate crime victims, organizing and leading protests,
volunteering with social justice groups, advancing AAPI education policies, and supporting NYC's
Chinatown businesses with proposal writing and marketing strategy.
Despite the trauma happening all around us, she believes empathy, awareness, and curiosity can
save our world if we each recognize our power to affect change and put in the day in day out work
to exercise it.

Division Chief Workflow and Knowledge Management at United States Air Force

Cybersecurity consultant with an extensive demonstrated history of maintaining trust (cleared: TS SCI), and providing confidentiality, integrity, and availability aligned Information Security system and data solutions that protect the interest of national and multi-national organizations.

During my Information Security career, I’ve excelled in providing leadership to cybersecurity teams, programs, and initiatives that drastically reduce the occurrence of security incidents, and raise the morale of teams, departments, and units.

During my 20+ years in the United States Air Force, I’ve developed a reputation as a fixer, by turning underperforming Information Security programs, initiatives, and teams around, thereby working myself into one new challenge after the other.

I specialize in leading the charge in securing organizations by facilitating collaboration among interdependent technical and non-technical teams with the goal of a secured organization in mind. In addition to establishing and overseeing an organization’s Information Security program, I also provide honed expertise in diplomatically leading security professionals in a way that produces outcomes an organization seeks.

I’m highly adept at authoring, translating, and implementing security policies, standards, guidelines, and procedures according to national and internationally applicable Risk Management Frameworks such as the: NIST 800 Series (National Institute of Standards and Technology), Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP), Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA), HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996), International Standards Organization (ISO)’s ISO 27000, Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA), and Health Information Trust Alliance (HITRUST).
