The National Association of Minority Speakers (NAMS) was created to provide a platform for organizations to access diverse facilitators. NAMS come from diverse backgrounds including LGBTQ, 55+, and, a multitude of diverse races. We have provided speakers for clients in both the public and private sectors. NAMS speakers are well versed in a wide collection of topics aimed to deliver education, inspiration, and motivation to a variety of audiences. We strive to make every event a memorable experience.

ABOUT THE FOUNDER
Dr. Terrence Underwood
Terrence (Dr. T) Underwood is a certified Anger Therapist and Founder of Purple Heart Talks. He is a growth-minded, inclusive thinker with more than 20 years’ experience optimizing learning outcomes with deep expertise in inclusion, leadership development, anger management, and organizational development across global organizations in diverse industries including non-profits, technology, financial services, and higher education.
Dr. Underwood has served in management roles focused on Leadership and Organizational Development for the past 19 years. This includes a 17-year tenure in Leadership and Organization Development at AT&T. Currently Dr. Underwood is the Sr Director for Catalyst where he heads their global Leading, Equity, and Inclusion (LEI) department.
